Biografía


Dr. Fernando Bugatto (MD, PhD), is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has a degree in Biochemistry. This double training makes him familiar with the basic tools provided by Molecular Biology and has clinical and research experience. He has been Principal Investigator of 4 research projects in Health Sciences, two autonomous from the Ministry of Health of the Andalusian Government and another two nationals from the Carlos III Health Institute, related to energy metabolism and the proinflammatory state in women with gestational diabetes. He has made more than 30 international publications, with more than 15 located in the first quartile, highlighting studies on placental metabolism in gestational diabetes. He also leads a research group PAI CTS-559 \
